Skiing and snowboarding
In the village itself there are two ski lifts provided for the avid skier and snowboarder, while the majority of winter sports activities are located on Torrent.
Winter hiking
You don’t fancy attaching boards on your heels, but still want to enjoy alpine wintersports? No problem. With its over 40 kilometres of prepared and secured winter hiking tracks at different difficulty level, you will be able to dive into Leukerbad’s winter wonderland!
Snowshoeing
You would like to dive into untouched winter landscapes, do some sports, but far away from the hustle and bustle of ski slopes? Snowshoeing might just be the right option for you.
Sledging
Whiz down the sledging slides on Gemmi, the Snowpark at Sportarena or at the restaurant Weidstübli, to get that adrenalin rush!
Cross-country skiing
In the village’s immediate proximities there is a true cross-country skiing paradise featuring many different ski runs totalling 12 kilometres.
Snowkite
The special kick. Let yourself get carried away by natural winds and updraughts that will effortlessly carry you above lake Daubensee presenting ideal training conditions for both beginners and advanced kiters.
Backcountry skiing
Gemmi is a very extensive area for backcountry skiing with a medium level of difficulty.
Ice skating
Among many other things, the Sportarena Leukerbad also features an indoor ice rink on an 60 x 30 meters area that can host up to 450 spectators.
